I was a very important person in the world Everyone looked upon me for help My life was going splendidly I was somebody Everywhere I went, people flocked to see me I saw a man over on the side He beckon me to hear His voice As I listened, I fell down on my knees Sudden the world left me I am nobody now But I was not alone A new beginning I followed the voice I had heard Those who flocked me Now thought I was nobody But I trusted the voice I had heard The Lord brought a new life to me A newness came around me People saw the glow Everybody saw Christ in ME!! by Pandyangel (c) 1999 |
I sat on the edge of the river looking into the reflection of myself Why would God want me? I am not pretty .
